Simple View for Flows
Best practice is to build starting with one Agent Node. See this live build example here. To reinforce best practice, and to simplify the view for those who do, the default when you create a new flow will be our new
simple
view.
One thing you'll note about this view if you've been around CloseBot for any time at all, there's no Global Prompt area. Instead, include the entire desired prompt in the center prompt area... The global prompt area is hidden, stripped of anything except for injecting all variable titles and values present on the contact. (ex. Phone -> 425-874-9999).
Improved Job Flow + Personas Page (Agents)
The two table view previously for Flows and Personas was unnecessarily confusing, especially to newcomers. The new interface is easier to navigate, plus make it easier to organize with folders and see/empty your trash.

This interface also brings click+drag organization capabilities. We think you'll really enjoy the new view here!
What's Next?
The team is currently focused on the following items:
- MCP -> 1-2 weeks
- Mid-thought messageing -> 1 week
- Transactional emails -> 1-2 weeks
MCP
will allow your agents to more easily authenticate and communicate with your CloseBot account to carry out actions for you.Mid-thought messaging
will allow your CloseBot agents to send messages on any channel whenever they want... including when they are looking something up that's taking time (see image below) or
firing off something like a text message while chatting via live chat after gathering phone number "I just shot you a text just to make sure I got your phone number right".
Transactional Emails
will allow CloseBot to email you with updates like top-ups, connection errors, wallet negative balances, weekly account summaries and more. We plan to extend this for agencies to be able to have their own sending domain for client notifications and invites as well.
